Amaro, Milliner Among Cuts

The new NY Jets regime has taken the “show me what you can do today” approach to building a solid franchise. This is a breath of fresh air after years of wasting roster spots with dead weight. Sure there are salary cap implications but GM Mike Maccagnan’s no nonsense approach will pay long term dividends.

Here are the final cuts and we will have more information over the weekend:

Cuts to 53:
TE Jace Amaro, CB Dee Milliner, RB Antone Smith, FB Tommy Bohanon, TE Zach Sudfeld, TE Wes Saxton, G Craig Watts, G Michael Liedtke, WR Kenbrell Thompkins, WR Jeremy Ross, WR Chandler Worthy, DT Tarow Barney, DE Claude Pelon, LB Trevor Reilly, LB Freddie Bishop, LB Taiwan Jones, CB Bryson Keaton, CB Darryl Morris, CB Kevin Short, S Doug Middleton
